Workshop Highlights
-
This intense, comprehensive 4-day workshop will teach you the skills you need to think more critically and solve complex, human-centric problems that cannot be solved by math and science alone. These are two of the most critical skills you can develop in the age of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning* (*World Economic Forum, 2016).
-
Root cause subject matter experts and Six Sigma Master Black Belt can take their complex problem-solving skills to the next level.
-
Personnel new to root cause analysis can develop a comprehensive understanding of the graded approach to solving complex, human-centric problems using causal analysis.
-
This course will prepare you for certification as a BlueDragon Certified Hyper-Integrated Causal Analyst Level 1, 2 or 3, helping you to become much more valuable to your organization.
Schedule / Class Size
-
The 4-day workshop is focused on experiential learning and was designed with more time for case studies, coaching and mentoring.
-
Case studies of increasing difficulty are provided to help you graduate with a high degree of proficiency: you will be able to apply your new skills the day after you graduate.
-
Classes are usually held over a two week-period, typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The staggered schedule was developed to avoid “Zoom Fatigue” (yes, that’s a new thing). Our new staggered schedule has been well received by the participants.
-
Class sizes have been reduced to a maximum of 16 participants (down from 20), to provide a better virtual learning environment.

Virtual Platforms / Requirements
-
Virtual workshops are conducted in Zoom or WebEx. In addition, you will be introduced to Mural, a powerful and easy to use virtual whiteboard. These two platforms have made it possible to deliver virtual classes with the same or better results than live workshops.
-
The use of Mural, our virtual whiteboard, has made it much easier to conduct assessments, investigations and root cause analysis when we cannot conduct meetings in person.
-
Prior to the start of class, you will be provided pre-workshop instructions on how to use Zoom/WebEx, and a link to a practice Mural so you can get acquainted with the virtual whiteboard.
-
Because this is an all virtual workshop, participants are required to have a webcam and microphone and be able to access Zoom/WebEx and Mural through the internet.
-
Internet download speeds greater than 30 Mbps are highly recommended.
